I work exclusively with ink when I draw and I typically create pieces that include the gure, are horror related, or are narrative in nature. I prefer to use ink in my work as you are always at risk with making a mistake that cannot be undone and having the control and steady hand to avoid those mistakes makes the nal piece that much more satisfying. Was It All For Naught? is a narrative piece centering around a villager’s return home after a hunt only to nd that his entire village had been burned down during his absence. Would it have mattered if he had not gone on the hunt? If he had stayed behind they would have starved, but leaving meant the village was unprotected. Was it really all for naught?
